Brain Health Benefits of Strength Training

So we know that strength training is good for both muscle and bone building but did you know it is also linked to enhanced brain benefits?

A study showed that both high intensity resistance training and moderate intensity resistance training significantly improved the performance on a cognitive test.

Training once to twice a week in a strength training program also showed signs of improved memory.

The next time you think about going in for your workout remember its not just for your muscles, bones, but also for your brain.

So get out there or in the gym and work on your health.
